RELEASE EVENT ~ Review & Giveaway ~ WORTH THE CHANCE (MMA FIGHTER, #2) BY VI KEELAND

A New Adult/Adult Contemporary Romance
by
NYT Bestselling Author Vi Keeland

Meet Liv Michaels

It may have been seven years, but I’d know him anywhere. Sure, he’s grown, filled out in all the right places, but his captivating blue eyes and cocky grin are exactly the way I remember. Even though I’d much rather forget.

Liv Michaels is almost there. She’s smart, determined and weeks away from landing the job she’s dreamed about for years. Time healed old wounds, even her broken heart from the devastation of being crushed by her first love.

Meet Vince Stone

Women love a fighter, especially a good one. Lucky for me, I’m damn good. But there’s one woman that isn’t interested. Not again, anyway.

Vince ‘The Invincible’ Stone is every woman’s fantasy…strong, sexy, confident and completely in control. Growing up surrounded by chaos, he’s learned never to get too attached. Love will drag you down. He adores women, treats them well, puts their own needs before his own…for the night anyway. With the biggest fight of his life coming up, his focus should be on training.

When fate brings Vince & Liv back together again, there’s no denying the chemistry is still there. But can Vince erase the old scars their past left behind? Or will Liv hurt him instead?

I love fighter books, and even though this one only had a few fights in it, I loved it.
Liv is trying to land her dream job, a writer at the Sun… what she doesn't expect is to see the boy from her past and what he has become. When she sees Vinny again, he sets her body on fire. She seems out of control with him. Everything she thought she liked or wanted changed the minute he came back into her life.

Vinny is looking to become champion. What he wasn't looking for was to be captivated by a woman, let alone a woman from his past that was probably the only person he ever loved. He was happy with is fighting, playboy life, until Liv walked into his class looking to write his story. He spins it so she has to actually spend time with him outside of the story interview.

They fall into a normal life of being together, then Liv gets another opportunity for a story. Hoping what they say isn't true she goes for the story. What she finds out shocks her, then makes her do something stupid. Keeping it from Vinny was the worst thing she did, but I also understood why. She wanted to protect what he has always known. She wanted to protect HIM.

Liv and Vinny you could always tell were meant to be. Even back in the day they were for each other. Only the both needed to grow up and find themselves.

I really liked this story, its one of friendship, loyalty and love. 4.5 STARS
